How Do I Set Up Online Giving?
In November 2012, our ministry released a new system for online giving. If you have given online prior to this date, everything transferred over and you should be able to use your same login (i.e. email address) and password to access giving information. If you have never given online before or have questions about this new system, please take a look at our step by step process to online giving. Is My Gift Tax-Deductible?
Yes! We are a 501c-3 non-profit organization, so all gifts are tax deductible. For a gift to qualify for a tax deduction, the check must be written to Campus Outreach. In some situations, you may desire to give a personal gift to a staff person. However, if the check is written to that staff person, it is NOT tax-deductible.
Does Any Portion Of My Gift Go Towards Administrative Costs?
Included in every staff person’s support goal is a $100/month administrative fee that is contributed to a contingency fund. This fund exists primarily to assist our administrative staff to communicate with the support donor network and as immediate needs arise.
When Do I Get A Receipt For My Gift?
You can access your giving statement through our online giving portal. Check out our step-by-step process on how you can download your statement.
We always mail the monthly statements/receipts within the first week of each month. These statements show any gifts that we received before the end of the previous month. We send out quarterly and yearly statements four times a year. If you want to specify how frequently you want to receive statements, then fill out our communication preferences form.
Can I Use Stock to Give To The Ministry?
