Liz grew up in a Christian home, but it took until her freshman year at the University of Northwestern for the weight of her sin and the sufficiency of God's grace to finally sink in. Before college, Liz found her identity in anything that built her own kingdom – school, sports, friends, guys, etc. – but when the Lord gave her a new heart, she began to experience radical change in her desires.
Throughout college, women in Campus Outreach were faithful to show Liz what is means to give our lives away for the sake of the Gospel through evangelism and discipleship. As she began to spend time with younger girls and got to witness God move and change hearts, Liz realized no career seemed as exciting as pursuing Jesus with girls on the college campus.
