Campus Outreach Minneapolis' desire is for college students to know God on a deep and intimate level and be equipped to make God known within their spheres of influence. Our Big Events:
Chicago Christmas Conference
Over the Christmas break, we spend 5 days and 4 nights in downtown Chicago for our annual Christmas Conference. This is an event that includes speakers, praise and worship, seminars, free time in Chicago, and lots of fellowship with other students involved with the ministry. In 2007, over 400 staff and students gathered to hear from our main speaker, Kent Bailey. Our theme was "All Things", taken from Romans 11:36. Summer Beach Project
Each summer Campus Outreach provides an intensive summer growth opportunity where students are living, playing, working, and learning with other college students for 9 weeks in Myrtle Beach , SC. Each student works a full time job during the day and participates in Bible studies, evangelistic outreaches, discipleship groups, ministry training, fellowship, and other activities during the week. This challenging schedule creates an ideal environment for students to grow in their relationship with Christ as well as develop ministry skills and leadership qualities.
Cross Cultural Project
In 2007, we took 9 students to India for our first Cross Cultural Project (CCP). They spent 6 weeks in India ministering to students at the Agricultural Institute in Allahabad, India. Their time consisted of building relationships with students and holding Bible studies almost every night.
Summer In The Cities
Each summer we provide students who are in the Twin Cities opportunities for growth. From June 2 to August, we meet on Monday and Wednesday nights for different times of teaching and fellowship. You can look at the schedule and find more information at http://www.cominneapolis.org/sitc
Harvest Party
The HARVEST PARTY is an annual event by Campus Outreach held in the middle of the Fall. We get together around Minneapolis where there will be a bonfire, horse rides, pumpkin carving, pie throwing, horseshoes, and much more. The Harvest Party will be held on October 19th at the Ham Lake Retreat Center.
