Will You Have A Summer of Spiritual Slumber?
For those on a college schedule, summer break can prove to be a time of spiritual slumber. The people and activities that were instrumental in stimulating spiritual growth through the school year are in many cases gone. Even if there is a solid plan in place for “feeding faith”, an attempt to execute this plan in isolation is doomed to failure even before it starts. We are not meant to live the Christian life alone (Heb. 3:12-13).
As you think about your summer schedule, we would like to encourage you to consider making Summer in the Cities (SITC) part of it.
SITC is an opportunity for college students and recent high school graduates who are in the Minneapolis area to come together and grow in their faith through fellowship, outreach and Bible teaching. It is put on by Campus Outreach, Bethlehem Baptist’s college ministry, and we would love for you to come.
