Charlie and Jennifer both became Christians through the ministry of Campus Outreach while in college at Furman University and Presbyterian College, respectively. Throughout the rest of their time in college, God continued to work in their lives through Campus Outreach. They both worked with Campus Outreach Greenville for a few years before getting married in May of 2006. They joined the Campus Outreach Minneapolis team in the summer of 2006. They had their first baby, Callie, on Christmas Eve 2008.

The Brooks Family Blog

At a very young age, Brienne began to recognize her need for Jesus, and at the age of 14 she began to understand what a foothold sin had in her life. In her sophomore year of college Brienne realized God's calling on her life to full-time vocational ministry. Brienne became involved with Campus Outreach in her senior year at Northwestern College, and joined the Minneapolis staff team in the fall of 2007. Brienne married her husband Jim in January 2009.

Nick went through a big change his freshman year at Minnesota after realizing he couldn't earn God's favor -- that God's grace was given to him freely (Eph 2:8) . He is going to be pioneering in the office and ministering to students in the evenings at the U of M. He is recently married to Katie Vanderheyden (now Katie Stromwall) and excited to minister on the Campus at the U of M this year!

Stromwall Ministry Update

Jared and Amy were greatly impacted through discipleship as college students. Amy is from Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska and Jared is from Iowa and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa. They were on staff in collegiate ministry with the Navigators from 2003-2008 and joined the Campus Outreach Minneapolis team in the fall 2008. Jared and Amy will be launching the new Mobilization chapter of COM this fall, where they will be working with college seniors involved with COM to begin preparing them for life after college. Jared and Amy have one child, Josiah and are expecting their second, due in late September.
