Campus Outreach had a huge impact on both Paul and Samm in helping them understand more fully what it meant to trust and live by the gospel of Jesus Christ. This took place as they participated in discipleship at Presbyterian College. Paul became a Christian at the age of eleven when he was growing up in Spartanburg, SC. Samm remembers desiring a relationship with Christ after her father explained that nothing else was sufficient for acceptance by God. Though they met in college, they worked on different campuses with Campus Outreach Greenville, Samm for 5 years at Western Carolina University and Paul for 3 years at his alma mater. They both came to Minneapolis in 2003 for the initial launch of COM. Three years later, they were married and continue to enjoy working together at the University of Minnesota. They have a little girl named Maddux Elysia who was born on October 25, 2008.

Brittany became a Christian during her freshman year at the University of Minnesota. God used a relationship with one of the campus staff girls to make the gospel clear to her. She spent her college career being very active in the ministry by being discipled by a staff girl and starting to pour her life into other women in her sorority. Brittany joined the CO Minneapolis team Fall 2007.

Nick went through a big change his freshman year at Minnesota after realizing he couldn't earn God's favor -- that God's grace was given to him freely (Eph 2:8) . He is going to be pioneering in the office and ministering to students in the evenings at the U of M. He is recently married to Katie Vanderheyden (now Katie Stromwall) and excited to minister on the Campus at the U of M this year!
