During the Engage Global Retreat, Rick Davis facilitated discussion from our cultural learner activity of interacting with two different “cultures." This discussion was an important reminder of humbly learning about a culture in order to share the gospel in a manner that overcomes cultural barriers.

During the Engage Global Retreat, Rick Davis discussed the reasoning for the learner’s posture for interacting with different cultures to create a bridge for the gospel. focusing on the passage of Acts 17:16-34. We also participated in an activity with two different "cultures" to learn the importance of a learner’s posture when sharing the gospel cross-culturally.
The Great Commission
At the Engage Global retreat, we talked about the meaning of The Great Commission and discussed God's heart for the nations throughout the bible. He also talked about global missions and the 10/40 window.
