*Free to Love

Jared Grove in this talk starts off by asking the question Why are we here on this earth? What is our purpose in life and why do we just not go straight to heaven when becoming believers in Christ? He than unpacks this question and helps to answer some of the many questions generated from last weeks missions talks about going into the world and making disciples of all nations.

*Cause I'm Free... Free Fallin'

In this talk Brent Cramer unpacks evangelism from the angle of our weaknesses and broken people and how God soverign over our failures. He then delves into how God uses broken people for his glory and that through our failures God grows us and works through us and those failures to influence others for his glory.

*The Truth Will Set Them Free

In this theme training Andrew Knight goes through his "Tale of Trees". In this tale Andrew unpacks the transition that humans made in Genesis from being in perfect marriage with God in the garden to separation from him after the fall. And through this Andrew talks about the tree of the cross that restores us to God and brings us to the tree of life so that we can be with God once again. Andrew than ends the talk with the call to missions and the desperate need for missionaries around the world. He encourages the project to pray about missions and sending and going themselves, and ends with an impactful time of meditation and prayer for the world and the brokenness of the world today.

*Free to be Friends

In this leaders training Jake Fletcher talks about our need as leaders on project to not only lead our disciples but to listen and engage them. He prefaces this talk with the statement "you are set free from the burdens of leadership positions through the gospel centered freedom of servant hearted leadership to be friends with disciples". A long intro to be sure, but one that helped to outline our freedoms from the burden of leadership and to just simply love on and engage the disciples on project.

*Free Your Mind

In this talk Reed Schaaf talks about meditating on the word of God and what exactly meditation of God's word looks like and what it entails. He unpacks this topic and addressing some common misconceptions about what meditation is and what it looks like to meditate on God's word.

*Free From the Love of Money

During this life training Cody Walkup talks about our freedom from the love of money. He unpacks this with the thought of "We are freed up to give generously when we trust the provision of God over the security money offers". He breaks down what it means to live freely in the security that God provides for his children and what it looks like to use and spend money with a serving and giving heart.

Free to Fail

In this talk Jared Grove talks about our freedom to fail and how forward in faith after failure. Jared begins the talk by defining failure and then unpacking why we are scared of failure. He than breaks out several verses in the Bible that address our fear and insecurity in failure. Jared ends the talk by discussing some practicals that we can do to practice this freedom that we have from failure in Christ.

Free Rest, Work Free

In this talk Jared Wass talks about work and what it means to job search and find a job in which we can glorify God. He talks about this by comparing how the world views work to how christians should view work. He unravels this topic by talking about how work is a necessary good, that all work is significant, and we all work from approval instead of working for approval. Jared than ends the talk by asking the question: What drives me to do what I do? Fear? or approval?


Free to Succeed

During this talk Dan Grano talks about success and how we are free to act and engage people about faith because we are free to succeed in Christ. Dan unpacks this further by talking about different situations in which success can be found in evangelism, even if we don’t see them as successes.

Land of the Free, Home of the Slave

Steve Discher, in this talk, breaks down the importance of reading the Bible and the importance of reading scripture in the life of a Christian. He dives into the needs of a christian and how the Bible helps to keep us spiritually awake and resting in the gospel


Relationships Week (Parts One and Two)

Paul & Samm Poteat in this talk about their marriage and unpack several aspects of relationships, marriage, love, and sex from a God honoring perspective. In this they share several lessons they have learned from counseling other couples as well as from their own marriage. 

Paul and Samm continue their talk on relationships by addressing more topics such as physical-ness in relationships, out looks and appearance, being honest and open in a relationship, as well as other areas. They explore these topics using examples from their own lives, and experiences that they have had to shed light on what God calls us to do in friendships and relationships alike.
